1. Laughter is one of the best things for your mental and physical state. Smile more and you will find people will smile back at you.
2. Recognize that Stress is a killer. Keep your stress levels down by making sure you get enough relaxation in your life and not taking on too much.
3. Don't worry be happy as the song says. Choose to be happy not sad or disillusioned by what life has given you.
4. Get plenty of exercise. This is the hardest part for me but walking is something that is free and achievable.
5. Eat healthy foods. When you can include a lot of raw foods into your diet. Eat also wholegrain breads and include all the food groups.
6. Get proper sleep at least 6 - 8 hours a day. Harness the Power of your Dreams and learn from what your dreams are telling you.
7. Learn to relax. Even if it is 20 minutes a day you can take to unwind. I plan my vacation travel and this is my way of relaxing and escaping to my favorite places for awhile. I am always working on the next trip.
Try some of these points and you might even think of more that apply to you that I haven't mentioned. Here's to a good life!

Will I dream my life away?

We all dream but most of us don't know what they are all about. We just take more notice of them when the dream is disturbing or out of the ordinary in some way. Will I dream and ever remember them? Yes that is possible as I have found if I keep a dream journal by my bed and write them down as soon as I wake up.
Our subconscious experiences many emotions such as sadness, anger and happiness but our brains work at such a high speed that we may not be able to process these feelings before the thoughts are gone again.Your unconscious mind comes out every night to sort through your daily thoughts. What does on in the day will get reviewed and filed away again at night. Will I dream and sort out all my problems, well, probably not but if I do resolve a few that would be great.
I could never understand though why nights I don't dream at all. Well I found out that I probably did dream those nights but I just don't remember those dreams. We have around 4 dreams a night and each dream may last for about an hour or so. I recently experienced this when I had 3 dreams I remembered, each one after another and quite different to each other as well. That morning I felt quite special.
Our nights will never be dreamless, we just won't remember all of them so to answer 'Will I dream my life away?" the answer is yes I will continue to go to DREAM TOWN.

Meditation Techniques - what you need to know
Jul. 6th, 2008 | 11:35 pm
Meditation techniques simply involve a process of transforming yourself and your thoughts. There are many different ones that might suit you and often different meditation techniques are suited to different personality types.
The way to end the cluttered feeling you may feel is to change the way your brain and energy body function, and this can be accomplished through the use of meditation techniques. Some are expansive and allow for the free flow of thoughts and their observation whereas some types involve bringing focus into one's thoughts.
Meditations may either be silent, with music or guided. Listening to music naturally brings us into the present moment. Music for meditation is a must for me to bring me into the proper mindset very quickly. Assuming a certain posture has been central also to many meditation techniques. I myself, prefer to sit in a recliner chair while I know others who stand or even walk during meditation. The best meditation technique for you is the one that feels right and the one that takes you to your highest conciousness.
The best music for meditation, I have found, is background music that embodies a peaceful quality. The Unexplainable Store sells these that are also quality unique meditation music called binaural beats that enhance your meditation experience. You can download a wide range of titles from $14.95 for a 20 minute recording. I have had some good results and am planning on trying other titles they have such as motivation and hypnosis, so try them yourself and see what great results you get.
